DSEK order transfers of 97 PM package employees

The Directorate of School Education Kashmir (DSEK) has ordered the inter-district transfer of 97 employees appointed under the Prime Minister’s Package on spouse posting grounds immediately.

The order was issued days after the DSEK was conveyed by the administrative department for approval for effecting the inter-district transfer of employees (appointed under PM’S special Package) within the valley on spouse posting grounds.

The Director of School Education Kashmir has issued an order in this regard. “Whereas, the Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir and Relief Commissioner J&K Jammu vide letter No: Div com/PS/Misc/2021/2697 of 18-10/21/PRcwsg/22/8-13 of 07-04-2022 have recommended the inter-district transfer of employees appointed under PM’S special Package on spouse posting grounds”, the order reads.

Whereas the matter was taken up with the Administrative Department by this office vide communication No: Estt-III/B-Trs/inter-district transfer/4211 of 18-04-2022, it added.

“The Administrative Department vide communication No: Edu-NGW179/202213 dated: 24-05-2022 conveyed the approval for effecting the inter-district transfer of employees (appointed under PM’S special Package) within the valley on spouse posting grounds”, it added.

“Now, therefore, pursuant to the approval conveyed by the Administrative Department, the sanction is hereby accorded to the inter-district transfer of employees appointed under PM’s Special Package with immediate effect”, the order reads.

The incumbents, after being properly relieved by the Drawing and Disbursing Officer, shall report to the Chief Education Officer concerned, who shall post these employees in any School within Municipal limits on a need basis. However, it added that their lien, seniority, and promotion prospectus should remain in their parent district.
The Drawing and Disbursing Officer/Chief Education Officer shall implement the order after ensuring that the incumbents figuring in the order have been appointed under PM’S Special Package and free from all encumbrances, the order reads.
