Remain online available for queries: SED to teachers
The School Education Department has asked teachers in Kashmir to have online interactions with students once a week during the winter vacations.
Further, the teachers have been asked to remain available for any query or any doubt of any students. In this regard, an order has been issued by the Principal Secretary to the Government School Education Department B K Singh.
“It is hereby ordered that all Government Educational Institutions including recognized Private Schools upto class 12th falling in Kashmir Division shall observe winter vacations (as per past practice) with the following schedule”, the order reads.
As per the order, the vacation of the class up to 8th has been scheduled from 6th of December, 2021 to 26th February, 2022 and Class 9th to 12th from 13th of December, 2021 to 26th February, 2022
Further, as per the order, there will be online interaction of teaching faculty with students through WhatsApp group/ Google-meet etc. at least once a week. Also, the teacher shall remain available for any query/doubt of any student on phone/WhatsApp etc.
The teachers will ensure completion of all ongoing exams of regular academic sessions 2020-21 for different classes. Any default on part of HOs in observance of calendar shall attract strict action under rules, the order reads.
