MoS Health Dr. Bharati Pravin Pawar says more than 60 countries across world are providing booster doses of COVID19 vaccine

The National Technical Advisory Group on Immunization (NTAGI) and National Expert Group on Vaccine Administration for COVID-19 (NEGVAC) are deliberating and considering scientific evidences regarding administration of booster dose of Covid-19 vaccines.

In a written reply in the Lok Sabha yesterday, the Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare Ministry Dr. Bharati Pravin Pawar said, more than 60 countries across the World are providing booster doses of Covid-19 vaccine.

She said, Central Drugs Standard Control Organization (CDSCO) has granted permission to Bharat Biotech and Biological E for conduct of clinical trials for the administration of booster dose.
