JKPCC offers Rs.15 L prize
Days after a video clip of BJP Member Parliament Jugal Kishore Sharma went viral on social media wherein he was seen counting development works in Jammu and Kashmir post revocation of Article 370, Jammu and Kashmir unit of Congress party on Wednesday announced Rs.15 lakh prize money for spotting the metro stations in Jammu and Srinagar cities.
Taking to microblogging site, J&K Congress wrote, “15 Lakh prize money for those who can spot a metro station in Jammu and Srinagar city of J&K.”
“Why is Mr. @mpjugalkishore misleading Parliament ?,” it further tweeted.
In a video, Jugal Kishore Sharma speaking in the Lok Sabha during the ongoing Parliament Session has expressed that development is expedited in Jammu and Kashmir after the revocation of Article 370 and the Metro Rail projects in Jammu and Srinagar cities will soon be completed.
He also appealed to the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs to extend the already sanctioned Bantalab to Bari Brahmana Metro Rail Project further to Vijaypur tehsil of Samba district where the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) is coming up to benefit the local population.
