9th Day Witness Huge Crowd In Sports Stadium Kathua For 10th Police Martyr’s Memorial T-20 Cricket Tournament

In furtherance and ongoing its  9th day, two matches were played today in 10th Police Martyr’s memorial North Zone T-20 Cricket Championship 2021 at Sports Stadium Kathua. Ist match played in between Champions CA Chandigarh and Sports Club Jalandhar as well as 2nd match was played in between Balaji Cricket Club Kurukshetra and  Krishanam XI Amritsar of Group C team.*

First match of Group C played in morning session of the 9th day of tournament between Champions CA Chandigarh and Sports Club Jalandhar wherein  Champions CA Chandigarh  won the toss and choose to bat  first and scored  just 64 runs and gets all out  in 14.5 overs. The main scorer of  team was Kunwarjeet Singh  who scored 19 runs in 19 balls with 01 boundary  alongwith 01 sixer and Lovepreet Singh scored 16 runs of 12 balls and gave a smallest ever total to opposition team. While on chasing a target of  65 runs the  Sports Club Jalandhar team chased down the given target in just 10.1 Overs with the loss of 02 wickets. In this way Sports Club Jalandhar  team won this match by  08 wickets and top most scorer of the team was  Himanshu who has highest knock of 43 runs of 27 balls with 06 boundaries alongwith 02  biggy sixer for which he was  declared as Man Of the Match.*

Second match of Group C Team was played between Balaji Cricket Club Kurukshetra  and Krishanam XI Amritsar wherein Krishanam XI Amritsar  won the toss and choose to Bat first and put 116 runs on scoreboard  at the loss of  09 wickets in 20 overs. The main scorer of the team was Raman Arora   who scored 35 runs in 31 deliveries with 03 boundaries and Vishal Singh scored 29 runs in 25 balls with 02 boundaries and 02 sixer. While chasing a target of 117 runs  Balaji Cricket Club Kurukshetra   was unable to chased down the given target and scored just 97 runs in 20 overs with the loss of 09 wickets. Therefore Krishanam XI Amritsar thrashed the Balaji Cricket Club Kurukshetra by 19 runs and won this  match  in which top most wicket taker was  Mohit who did splendid bowling spell of 04 overs and have taken 04 crucial wickets by giving 20 runs only as well as bowled 01 median over  for which he was declared as Man of the Match  who  lead the team to victory.
