Police organised an Open South Kashmir Pencak Silat Championship in Pampore

Awantipora Police under the aegis of Civic Action Programme organised an Open South Kashmir Pencak Silat Championship 2021-22 at Government Degree College Pampore. The event was organized in collaboration with Pencak Silat Association J&K.

On the occasion, SSP Awantipora Shri Mohd Yousif-JKPS accompanied by Principal Government Degree College Pampore inaugurated the ‘Pencak Silat Championship 2021-22’ in which 300 participants of different age groups of South Kashmir Range participated.

During the inaugural ceremony, SSP Awantipora along with Principal Government Degree College Pampore interacted with the participating players and assured them that every kind of assistance will be provided by District Police Awantipora to boost the sports activities in Awantipora. The championship is amid to developing better police public relation.

The event was also attended by SDPO Pampore, DySP DAR Awantipora, SHO PS Pampore, Organizing Secretary, President Pencak Silat Association of Jammu & Kashmir and other officers from Police District Awantipora.
