J&K tableau to showcase post Article 370 devp, Chenab bridge
As the nation gears up to celebrate the Republic Day with much fanfare, the tableau of Jammu and Kashmir this year on Rajpath will showcase the developments taken place post revocation of Article 370 while the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Bhawan will remain the highlight in the parade.
“The Jammu and Kashmir tableau this year at the R-Day parade on Rajpath will showcase the developmental change witnessed after the revocation of Article 370 on August 5, 2019,” said an official.
He revealed that Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Bhawan will be the highlight during the parade on J&K tableau.
“The Jammu and Kashmir tableau did not find place in the 2021 Republic Day celebrations but this time, the government has once again entrusted the responsibility of preparing the tableau to the renowned artist from the UT, Veer Munshi, who has won the best tableau award to the erstwhile state several times,” said an official.
He said that the tableau this year will showcase Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Bhawan and national level institutions like IIT Jammu, IIM Jammu, AIIMS Jammu, AIIMS Pulwama, the highest railway bridge coming up on River Chenab in Reasi that will narrate the change that has taken place in Jammu and Kashmir.
Moreover, other developmental works and cultural diversity will be also be presented, he said and added, “the ‘Gaon Ki Aur’ program was depicted in the tableau of 2020 but this time a glimpse of rich cultural diversity and socio-economic progress will be shown along with achievements in the health sector, technical and management education institutes.”
“The work on the tableau is in full swing and is in the final stages. On January 26, through the tableau on the Rajpath, along with the religious, cultural diversity will also be displayed,” he added.
“Cultural diversity including development works in Jammu and Kashmir will be displayed on the Rajpath. Veer Munshi, the famous artist of the state, is preparing this tableau,” said an official.
