Every tehsil to get e-office in Kashmir
The administration has said that in every Tehsil Rupees 4 to 5 Lakh will spend for infrastructure development of e-office in Kashmir.
The e-office was initiated the Jammu and Kashmir government in the year 2020 and over the years, several departments have shifted to e-office. However, several departments are on it.
A senior government official told that e-office has been a major success of the government in Jammu and Kashmir and now the administration is making sure that lower offices. He added that lower offices in districts across Kashmir lack infrastructure for e-office, which has hampered the function.
He added that the Divisional Commissioner Kashmir P K Pole was informed by the officials that e-office has been established in Deputy Commissioner Office and due to the non-availability of infrastructure in the lower offices the implementation of e-office functioning is occasionally hampered.
“Taking note of the issue the Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, P K Pole has informed the Deputy Commissioner in valley that that every Tehsil will get Rupees 4 to 5 Lakh for infrastructure development, besides some funds will come for development of Patwar Halqa/Nibats which the infrastructure requisite for e-office can be taken or accommodated”, he added.
