Pakistan has been targeting forward areas along the LoC in Qasba, Krishna Ghati, Balakote, Mankote, Mendhar, Kirni sectors of Poonch and Sunderbani, Nowshera sectors of Rajouri district since August 4.
On August 1, Sepoy Rohin Kumar of Himachal Pradesh had attained martyrdom when Pakistan opened unprovoked firing along the LoC in Rajouri district. It was the sixth fatality suffered by the Indian Army during unprovoked ceasefire violations by Pakistan in Rajouri and Poonch districts of Jammu and Kashmir since June 4.
