Girls toppers in all streams as 75% students clear Class 12 exam in Kmr

The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) on Tuesday declared the result of the annual regular class 12th of the Kashmir division with over 75 per cent of students quailed exam.

The exams of class 12th were held in the month of November last year in offline mode, whereas, the JKBOSE had announced 30 per cent relaxation in the syllabus of the students.

As per the result gazette released by the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education Department over 72180 students had appeared for the exam out of which 54075 students passed the exam. Further, 37, 121 boys appeared for the class 12th exam out of which 26971 (72%) qualified exam.

Whereas, over 35, 059 girls had appeared for the class 12th exam out of which 27104 (78%) qualified the exam. Further, as per the result gazette, 47 students were found absent. 11 students were disputed eligibility, 9 were disqualified and exams of over 26 students stand cancelled.

As per the result announced by the JKBOSE, over 23573 students got Distinction, 20716 students got First Division, 9277 secured Second Division, 509 students got Third Division, 17384 will have to re-appear for the examination and over 721 failed in the exam.

In the faculty of Science, Arusa Parvaiz a student of Kashmir Harvard Educational Institute Naseem Bagh Srinagar secured the first position. Arusa secured got a 499 mark out of 500. Simran Hafeez a student of Government Girls Higher Secondary Soura Srinagar secured the second position. Simran secured 498 marks.

Whereas the third position in the Science stream was secured by five students, Faiza Zahoor Tantry a student of Govt. Girls Hr. Sec. School, Raj Bagh, Hadiya Rashid a student of Govt. Girls Hr. Sec. School, Kothibagh Srinagar, Sakib Bashir Lone a student of St. Joseph’s Hr. Sec. School, Baramulla, Shah Ribka a student of New Dream Land Hr. Sec. Instt, Ganderbal and Zainab Muneer a student of Islamia Hr. Sec. School, Rajouri Kadal Srinagar.

In Commerce faculty, Tabinda Jan a student of Kashmir Harvard Edu Instt Naseem Bagh Srinagar secured first position (497 marks). Rutba Bashir a student of Govt Girls Hr. Sec School, Amira Kadal secured second position (495 marks).

The third position in the Commerce, faculty was secured by Bareen Altaf a student of Govt. Girls Hr. Sec. School, Nawa Kadal, Srinagar, Haliya Anees a student of Govt. (Girls) Hr. Sec. School, Budgam, Iqra Bashir Shah a student of Green Valley HSS Ellahi Bagh Srinagar and Numan Javaid a student of Govt M.P.M.L Hr. Sec. School, Baghi Delawar Khan.

In the Arts stream, three students secured the first position. Adeebah Muzamil a student of Govt. Girls Hr. Sec. School, Kothibagh (496 marks). Hafsa Yousuf a student of Govt. Girls Hr. Sec School, Verinag (496 marks) and Suhail Ahmad Dar a student of Boys Hr. Sec. School, Pulwama (496 marks).

The second position was secured by Afeefah Bashir Wani a student of Govt. Girls Hr. Sec. School, Kothibagh (495 marks) and Sheema Yousuf a student of Govt. Hr. Sec. School, Kadipora, Anantnag (495 marks).
The third position in the Arts stream was secured by Bazlah Firdous a student of Green Valley HSS Ellahi Bagh Srinagar (494 marks), Ridda Qadri a student of Govt. Girls Hr. Sec. School, Soura, Srinagar. Sadaf Farooq, a student of Al Banat Educational Institute Baba Oarya- Ud-Din Ganderbal and Sadiqa Rehman a student of Green Valley HSS Ellahi Bagh Srinagar.

In the faculty of Home Science, Sahila Nabi a student of Gulam Nabi Gugjoo, Shafiqa Govt. Girls Hr. Sec. School, Kothi Bagh secured the first position. Masrat Mushtaq a student of Govt. Girls Hr. Sec. School, Baramulla secured the second position. Bisma Yousuf a student of Govt. Girls Hr. Sec. School, Baramulla secured the third position.
