2 more revenue officials arrested
As a part of the ongoing investigation in case regarding missing revenue records viz Lathas, Masavis and others, Channi Himmat Police on Tuesday arrested two more revenue officials and grilled Naib Tehsildar tehsil Bahu.
Official sources said that two Patwaris namely Bashir Ahmed son of Noor Ali of Panjgrain at present H.no 102 Sarwal Jammu presently posted at HalqaDeoli, Bishnah, Jammu and Sushil Kumar Sharma son of Prabh Dayal Sharma of Payan Akhnoor at present posted HalqaGhrota, tehsil Bhalwal were arrested in case vide FIR No 182/2021 u/s 409/477/120B/ 380 IPC of Police Station Channi Himmat, Jammu.
They said that Patwari Sushil issued farad Inthikab of Sunjwan area and Patwari Bashir issued farad Inthikab of Chowadhi during their posting in tehsil Bahu. With their arrests, the total number of arrests in the case have reached five.
It may be mentioned here that police and Revenue authorities during joint raids had recovered a large quantity of official records from houses and other locations of retired and serving Revenue.
