Admin identifies 47 illegal colonies across Jammu distt
Intensifying its drive against land grabbers, the administration has identified 47 illegal colonies across Jammu district and prompting concerned authorities to investigate the roles of revenue officials as well as former Congress Minister for their alleged involvement in irregularities.
“A former Congress minister, 9 Revenue officials and 4 Jammu Development Authority (JDA) officials are under scanner for their alleged involvement in developing these 47 illegal colonies across Jammu district,” an official source privy with the development told.
The list issued by the JDA informed that there are 47 unauthorized colonies in Jammu city and its outskirts under its jurisdiction.
The JDA issued a list of violators and illegal colonies after Divisional Commissioner Jammu Raghav Langer expressed his displeasure over the issue and took a serious note.
Divisional Commissioner Jammu had conducted a surprise visit on 4th February in Bishnah area and found out illegal colonies being developed by various developers and land grabbers .
The tentative list of unauthorized colonies in the local planning area of Jammu master plan 2032 issued by the JDA named as village Harsh Dabur, Bishnah (khasra number 405, 409), Kotli Charkha, Bishnah ( khasra number 826 to 835, Kotli Charkha Bishnah, Mehmoodpur ,Bishnah (khasra numbers 379,380, 383,386,391,392, 393, 401,404 405, 84,85,89 ,725,726,727,728, 750,751,752,749 and 740, Deoli, Bishnah (Khasra No 549,540), Naougran, Bishnah (khasra number 558,590), Chak lala, Bishnah ( khasra number 374, IsmailpurBishnah (khasra number 266), Sarore, Bishnah (khasra numbers 514,517), Langotian R S Pura (khasra number 01 (Near Rice Mill), Tindey Kalan R S Pura ( khasra No 297,298), Ganda R S Pura ( Khasra No 37), Kotli Mian Fateh (Khasra No 590, 59, 527, 535), Chowadhi, Bahu ( Khasra No 1416), Upper Chowadhi, Bahu ( 1534, 940,941, 1548,1549,1556,1530, 1422, 1409,1410,1411,Babliana, Jammu ( khasra no 272, 468), BirpurBariBrahmana, Samba (Khasra 162 72,74, 79, 78, 958), Raya Suchani, Vijaypur Samba (Khasra no 1452), Bagla(Ranjree) Vijaypur Samba (Khasra No 3025,2992,2993,567), Barn Bhalwal (Khasra No1366, 1386, 1417, 2096,1591, 1063, 3866,22191651,1652,1653,1655,1656,1657,1659,1922 ), Chak Bhalwal ( Khasra No 117,118,122,123,124& 125 206, 214, 390,390/1,402, 403 & 432), BhalwalBhalwal ( Khasra No 3866, 3826, 1770 ), Kote Bhalwal (Khasra No 2346,2347,2348,2349), KirpalpurCharkan Mandal ( Khasra No 307 & 308) and Nandni Jammu West ( Khasra No 109).
