Army Chief visits Northern Command, reviews security

Chief of Army Staff General Manoj Pande today visited the Udhampur based Northern Command and reviewed operational preparedness and security situation ahead of the annual Shri Amarnath yatra starting June 30.

General Manoj Pande visited Headquarters Northern Command and reviewed the operational preparedness, an official said.

He said that the General interacted with the Commanders and troops and appreciated them for high standards of professionalism and devotion to duty.
