Livestock, makeshift tent swept away after cloudburst near Jawahar Tunnel

A makeshift tent and livestock were swept away after cloudburst hit near Jawahar Tunnel in Qazigund area of Anantnag district on Wednesday early morning, officials said.

The cloudburst hit near Jawahar Tunnel area after heavy rainfall in the area, news agencies reported.

An official said that no human loss has been reported in the incident.

The official said that SDPO and SHO Banihal have rushed to the spot to assess the situation.
