Over 209.27 crore vaccine doses have been administered so far under the Nationwide Vaccination Drive.
Over 31 lakh 52 thousand doses were administered in the last 24 hours. The recovery rate is currently at 98.58 per cent. Over 15 thousand people recovered in the last 24 hours. Total number of recoveries have reached four crore 36 lakh 85 thousand 535.

Over 15 thousand new cases were recorded in the last 24 hours. India’s Active caseload currently stands at one lakh one thousand 830. Active cases stand at 0.23 per cent.
Daily Positivity Rate is at 3.47 per cent and Weekly Positivity Rate is at 3.90 per cent. Over 88 crore 18 lakh tests have been conducted so far. Over four lakh 54 thousand tests were conducted in the last 24 hours.
The Health Ministry on Friday said that more than 199.60 crore vaccine doses have been provided to States and Union Territories so far through the Centre’s free of cost channel and through direct state procurement category. It said, more than six crore 66 lakh balance and unutilised COVID vaccine doses are still available with the States and UTs to be administered.
As part of the Nationwide Vaccination Drive, the Centre has been supporting the States and Union Territories by providing them COVID vaccines free of cost. In the new phase of the universalisation of the COVID-19 vaccination drive, the Centre procures and supplies free of cost 75 per cent of the vaccines being produced by the vaccine manufacturers in the country to States and UTs.
