Stock Market Closing: Sensex settles above 58,800 level, Nifty slips by three points

The Sensex and the Nifty today closed almost flat amid negative cues from other Asian share markets. The Sensex finished above 58,800 level.

The Sensex added 37 points to close at 58,803. Divergently, the Nifty slipped marginally by three points to end at 17,539.
