By-election for Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council’s Tingmosgang constituency in Leh district takes place today

By-election for Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council’s Tingmosgang (Ting-mos-gang) constituency in Leh district is being held today, Tuesday, September 13.

Dorjay Namgyal of BJP and Tashi Tundup from Congress are in the fray. The byelection was necessitated following the death of sitting Congress Councillor Sonam Dorjey.

Polling, which started at 8 this morning, will continue till 4 in the evening of September 13.
