India’s Covid vaccination coverage crosses 216 crore 81 lakh mark

India’s Covid vaccination coverage has crossed 216 crore 81 lakh mark. More than 10 lakh 42 thousand vaccine doses were administered yesterday.

Union Health Ministry said, cumulative first dose of Covid vaccine have been administered to over 102 crore 43 lakh beneficiaries and second dose have been administered to more than 94 crore 69 lakh beneficiaries.

The Ministry said, over 19 crore 69  lakh precaution doses have been administered to the identified categories of beneficiaries including Health Care Workers, Front Line Workers and people above 18 years of age.
