Chenab bridge cost is Rs.1435 Cr: CE Northern Railways

Chief Engineer/North Jammu, Northern Railways BBS Tomar has said that cost of Chenab bridge is around Rs.1435 crore and not Rs.27,949 crore while deck width is 13.5 m on viaduct and 17 m on main arch portion.

In a statement, he said number of workers who worked on the bridge is 3200 at its peak and not 1300. He said Bakkal station has been mentioned as Salal-A station.
