Dawood Ibrahim alleged aide Riyaz Bhati sent to custody till Saturday in extortion case : Mumbai

In Mumbai, Riyaz Bhati, an alleged aide of fugitive underworld don Dawood Ibrahim has been sent to police custody till Saturday by the Esplanade Court.

Riyaz was arrested by Crime Branch of Mumbai Police from the Andheri area in connection with an extortion case. Bhati has been wanted in an extortion case filed in Versova police station in Mumbai.

According to police, Riyaz Bhati and Chota Shakeel’s relative Salim Fruit had threatened a businessman in Andheri and allegedly extorted from him a costly vehicle and seven lakh rupees.
