Woman kidnapped, gang-raped in moving SUV for night in Jammu
In shocking incident, a married woman was allegedly was abducted and gang-raped in a moving car in Jammu for entire night.
The incident reported barely couple of week after gruesome murder of DGP Himant Kumar Lohia, in capital city of Jammu and Kashmir.
“A married woman was kidnapped and then gang-raped by a group of three persons inside a moving Bolero car for entire night in Jammu city,” an official source told.
The recent incident has, however, put the khaki under scanner as the accused men drove the car in Jammu city without being noticed.
The accused finally parked the vehicle at Belicharana where they threw the victim woman out in an unconscious condition near the fourth bridge and fled away.
While SDPO Domana Sunil Singh expressed ignorance of such incident and SSP Jammu Chandan Kohli did not give comment when contacted, official sources claimed that a case vide FIR No 368/2022 U/S 366/376 D has been registered in Police Station Domana and no arrest has been made in this connection as yet.
They said that the incident took place on 08/10/2022 when the victim woman hailing from Samba’s Manohar Gopala village, who had come to meet her relative in village Ladoor, Marh, was on her way to buy something from a shop.
Sharing details authoritative sources said that on 07/10/2022 she came to meet her relatives in Marh area and on next day i.e. 08/10/2022 during evening hours she went to the nearby shop to buy something where a group of three persons dragged her inside the white colour Bolero car on dagger’s point and gang raped her.
They then took her to the unknown place at Belicharna side and parked the vehicle at isolated place and again gang raped her whole night and on next day i.e. on 09/10/2022 early morning they threw her near Belicharna Bridge and fled away.
The woman narrated the whole incident to her husband who later informed the police and got the FIR registered in this connection.
