Union MoS for Law and Justice Prof. SP Singh Baghel lays foundation stone of Water Supply Scheme in J&K’s Kupwara

Union Minister of State for Law and Justice Prof. SP Singh Baghel on his second-day tour to Kupwara district in north Kashmir yesterday inspected various developmental works and reviewed the pace of progress.

The Minister while talking to media in Kupwara said that Union Government has been providing full flow of funds for the development of J&K and said that Kashmir Valley witnessed the largest ever tourist footfall during current year which is itself a sign of peace.

He also laid the foundation stone of Water Supply Scheme (WSS) at Gulgam Tangwari which is coming up at a cost of Rs 799.60 lakh and inaugurated New Type Primary Health Centre (NTPHC) at Gugloosa Trehgam which was completed as a cost of Rs 187.50 lakh.

On the occasion, the Union Minister assured that he will take up the matter of additional funding for the PHC with Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha for further improvement of the hospital.
