Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman to visit Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala today

Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will be on a day-long visit to Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala today, November 5. She will inaugurate the Balarampuram Handloom Producer Company Ltd and Common Facility and Training Centre in Pallichal, Thiruvananthapuram this afternoon.

Minister of State for External Affairs Shri V Muraleedharan will deliver the Keynote address. Balarampuram Handloom Producer Company Ltd is the first handloom producer company in the state. It aims to give a boost to the handloom sector in Balaramapuram by exploring market opportunities. Mrs. Sithraman will also deliver the P. Parameswaran memorial lecture in Vazhuthacaud, Thiruvananthapuram in the evening. Mr. Muraleedharan will also attend the programme.
