PV Sindhu withdraws from BWF World Tour Finals

Indian badminton star PV Sindhu has withdrawn from the season-ending BWF World Tour Finals 2022, which will be held in Guangzhou, China, from December 14.

PV Sindhu, a double Olympic medal winner, and 2018 BWF World Tour Finals women’s singles champion, sustained a stress fracture in her left ankle en route to winning a gold medal at the Commonwealth Games 2022 in Birmingham.

The Sindhu camp has already informed the Badminton Association of India (BAI) about her withdrawal.
