Sensex declines 220 points to trade at 62,649

The Sensex and the Nifty today witnessed modest losses in the afternoon trade. Both indices fell amid mixed cues from global share markets.

The Sensex was trading below 62,650 level while the Nifty was trading below 18,650 points.

The Sensex declined 220 points to trade at 62,649. The Nifty also slipped 55 points to trade at 18,641.
