PMDP: Government releases unspent Rs.24 Cr for health schemes
The Jammu and Kashmir government has sanctioned the revalidation/release of un-spent Rs.24.22 crore under the Prime Minister’s Development Package (PMDP) for various health schemes in the Union Territory.
Three separate orders in this regard has been issued by the Health and Medical Education Department.
Sanction is hereby accorded to revalidation/ release of Rs.1708.30 lakhs (Rupees Seventeen Crore Eight Lakhs & Thirty Thousands) only, un-spent balance under “Prime Minister’s Development Package (PMDP)” in favour of Director Finance, Health & Medical Education Department for its further placement at the disposal of Director, Health Services Jammu for utilization of funds during the current financial year viz 2022-23”.
As per the order Rs.4.00 lakhs will be spent on 100 bedded additional Block at DH Kishtwar; Rs.580.29 on Sub District Hospital Akhnoor, Jammu; Rs.334.05 lakhs on the construction of 25 Bedded SDH at Padder Atholi, Kishtwar; Rs.17.90 lakhs on the construction of Nursing College Kishtwar and Rs.19.90 lakhs on the construction of additional block at District Hospital Samba.
Rs.268.42 lakhs will be spent on the construction of PHC Man it Banihal, Rs.117.28 lakhs on the construction of the New CHC Building at Khour, Jammu, Rs.110.18 lakhs on the construction of an accidental Hospital at Chowki Chowra, Jammu, Rs.16.20 lakhs on the construction of SDH Nagri Parole Kathua, Rs.0.01 lakhs on the construction of residential accommodation at CHC Katra, Reasi, Rs.38.96 lakhs on the construction of PHC Sumb, Samba, Rs.104.48 lakhs on the construction of PHC at Utter Bani, Samba 13 and Rs.96.63 lakhs n the construction of SDH Taryath.
Sanction is hereby accorded to the revalidation/ release of 691.71 lakhs (Rupees Six Crore Ninety One Lakhs & Seventy One Thousands) only, un-spent balance under “Prime Minister’s Development Package (PMDP)” in favour of Director Finance, Health & Medical Education Department for its further placement at the disposal of Director, Health Services Kashmir for utilization of funds during the current financial year viz 2022-23, reads another order.
As per the order, Rs.43.79 lakhs will be spent on DH Ganderbal; Rs.599.86 lakhs on the construction of SDH Qaimoh; Rs.10.23 lakhs on NTPHC Taki Imam Shopian; Rs.0.31 lakhs on PHC Kanir Budgam; Rs.34.92 lakhs on the construction of PHC Tilsar Budgam and Rs.2.60 lakh on the construction of PHC Watkaloo, Budgam.
Sanction is hereby accorded to revalidation/ release of Rs.2419.23 lakhs (Rupees Twenty Four Crore Nineteen Lakhs Twenty Three Thousands) only, un-spent balance under “Prime Minister’s Development Package (PMDP)” in favour of Director Finance, Health & Medical Education Department for its further placement at the disposal of Principal, Government Medical College Jammu, for utilization of funds during the current financial year viz 2022-23, reads another order.
As per the order, Rs 250.00 lakhs will spend on the construction of 100 bedded new emergency block at GMC Jammu; Rs 1658.31 lakhs will spend on the construction of Bone & Joint Hospital at Bakshi Nagar Jammu; Rs 363.53 on the construction/extension of labour room at SMGS Hospital Jammu; Rs 0.56 lakhs on maternity Hospital Jammu and Rs 146.83 lakhs on the construction of Rural Training Centre for Boys & Girls at R.S. Pura for GMC, Jammu.
