EAM Dr. S. Jaishankar to pay official visit to Cypru and Austria from 29th Dec
External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar will pay official visits to Cyprus and Austria from 29th of this month to 3rd of next month.
The External Affairs Ministry said, during his three days visit to Cyprus, starting from tomorrow, Dr. Jaishankar will meet with Minister of Foreign Affairs Ioannis Kasoulides and call on President of the House of Representatives Annita Demetriou.
He will address the business and investment community of Cyprus and interact with the Indian diaspora based in Cyprus. During his visit to Austria, Dr. Jaishankar will meet the Austrian Federal Minister for European and International Affairs Alexander Schallenberg.
According to the External Affairs Ministry, this will be the first External Affairs Minister-level visit from India to Austria in the last 27 years. The Minister will call on the Austrian Chancellor Karl Nehammer. He will also interact with the Indian diaspora based in Austria. Dr. Jaishankar will also meet with Director General of International Atomic Energy Agency Rafael Mariano Grossi.
