Relief Commissioner (M) J&K Assures KP leaders immediate redressal of grievances of KPS.
Socio Political leaders of Kashmiri Pandits namely Sh. M.K. Yogi (Prabhari AAP Displaced Minority Cell J&K UT), Vinod Pandita and Sunil Pandita(KP Leaders) called on Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner Migrants J&K recently along with the pertinent issues of the community and appealed RC J&K for amelioration of the same on priority basis.
In a Statement issued today, M.K. Yogi, Vinod Pandita and Sunil Pandita these socio political leaders expressed that during the detailed meeting held with Relief Commissioner Migrants J&K in his office chamber at Jammu , a wide range of threadbare discussions and confabulations took place during this meet and the pertinent issues brought into his notice were enhancement of monthly cash assistance from Rs.13000 to Rs.25000/ Per month, infrastructures deficiency in SDH Hospital Jagti, employment generation avenues for educated unemployed youth, implementation of central sponsored schemes in camps and non camps, regular supply of pure drinking water in all migrants camps, issues of PM Package employees, illegal land encroachment issues of migrants of village Levedora (Qazigund) etc.
The officer gave a patient hearing to the issues and assured the leaders that the same would be taken up with the concerned departments’ forthwith for their early amelioration. The land encroachment issues of the mentioned migrants was instantly taken with the concerned higher authorities for the protection and preservation of the same under provisions of J&K Migrant Property Act, 1997.
These leaders expressed gratitude to the Relief Commissioner (M) for giving a patient hearing to these pertinent public issues in the meeting and expressed overall satisfaction on his prompt working system in disposing off the public grievances instantly without any delay.
