India reports 228 new cases of COVID-19 during the last 24 hours

A total of two hundred twenty-eight new cases of COVID-19 have been reported in the country during the last 24 hours. The recovery rate is currently at 98.8 percent. India’s active caseload currently stands at over two thousand 503 and it is at 0.01 percent.

Union Health Ministry said that more than 46 thousand 450 vaccine doses of Covid were administered during the last 24 hours under the nationwide vaccination drive. So far, 220 crores and 12 lakh vaccine doses were administered across the country.
