5 people killed in road accident in Kerala

In Kerala, five youth were killed when a car in which they were travelling collided with a truck near Ambalapuzha in Alapuzha district during the wee hours today, January 23.

Four persons were killed on the spot, while one succumbed to his injuries at the Alappuzha Medical College hospital.

All the victims were occupants of the car and belonged to the districts of Thiruvanthapuram and Kollam. Police have taken the driver and his assistant into custody.
