PM Modi to hold talks with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi in New Delhi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hold talks with President of Egypt, Abdel Fattah El-Sisi in New Delhi today. The two leaders will have a bilateral meeting and delegation-level talks on bilateral, regional and global issues of mutual interest.

The Egyptian President arrived in New Delhi yesterday evening on a three-day visit to India. President Sisi will be the Chief Guest on India’s 74th Republic Day. President Sisi is accompanied by a high-level delegation, including five Ministers and senior officials. A military contingent from Egyptian Army will also participate in the Republic Day parade function.

President Sisi will be accorded a ceremonial welcome at the Rashtrapati Bhavan today.  President Droupadi Murmu will host a State Banquet in honour of the visiting dignitary in the evening.

Sources said that the visiting dignitary will also interact with Indian Business community at a business event during his visit.
