Bengaluru: BBMP Chief Commissioner appeals to IT-BT employees to take part in voting in large numbers

Systematic Voters Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) campaign was held in IT-BT clusters of Bengaluru yesterday.

Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike Chief Commissioner Tushar Girinath inaugurated the awareness campaign organised in partnership with Outer Ring Road Companies Association.

Mr. Girinath called upon the IT-BT companies to create a Voter Awareness Forum to educate their employees about the significance of their participation during the election day.

He stressed that leave granted on the election day must be utilized to exercise franchise. He appealed to the IT-BT employees to take part in voting in large numbers to make democracy stronger.
