Heat wave conditions to abate over Eastern India from Saturday
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast that heat wave conditions likely to continue over east India during next three days and abate thereafter.

It said heat wave conditions are likely over Bihar, West Bengal, Odisha and Jharkhand. The maximum temperatures were in the range of 40 to 44 degree Celsius over most parts of Central and East India. The Heat Wave conditions are prevailing in isolated pockets over West Bengal, Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Punjab and Haryana for the last around one week.
IMD also predicted that there will be no significant change in maximum temperatures during next 24 hours in Central and West India.
