Resolve the pertinent problems of migrants : Yogi

M.K. Yogi Prabhari Kashmiri Displaced People AAP J&K and senior KP leader has expressed grave concern on the proposed government move to recover electricity charges from displaced Kashmiri Migrants living in exile for last more than thirty two years in different camps on a meager monthly cash assistance which is too meager to even mend their families in present times when the cost of essential living commodities is very high in market .
In a Press Statement issued today M.K.Yogi senior leader has appealed Government of India and Lt.Governor UT of J&K to exempt Kashmiri Migrants living in different camps in Jammu from this burden of electricity charges because it was the then central Government who had after we’ll thought out machinations and plan given free electricity and pure drinking water to this hapless displaced community living still in dilapidated condition in different camps in Jammu Till their rehabilitation back in valley.

Yogi strongly appealed the Government of India to immediately enhance the relief assistance from meager amount of Rs. 13000/ to 25000/ per month so that the financial condition of this displaces community improves and they may be able to eke out their living honourably as they are unable to maintain their families on such a low relief assistance
Yogi further added that it would not be possible for them to pay electricity charges in exile in view of their financial conditions and appealed Government to continue the old practice of exemption of migrants from electricity charges till they are rehabilitated back in valley with honour and dignity as they are not living in exile by choice but are victims of terrorism and have given countless sacrifices for the cause of Nation and motherland .
