Stock Market: Sensex climbs 234 points, Nifty to end at 18,314

The key domestic indices ended with modest gains today. The Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange closed near 62,000 level while the Nifty at the National Stock Exchange settled above 18,300 mark. Both indices rose amid mixed cues from global share markets.

The Sensex climbed 234 points or 0.38 percent to finish at 61,964. The Nifty appreciated 111 points or 0.61 percent to end at 18,314.
