Sensex and Nifty losses in afternoon trade

The key domestic indices today witnessed losses in the afternoon trade. The BSE Sensex was trading below the 65,400 mark while the NSE Nifty was trading near the 19,350 level. Both stocks were down amid negative global cues.

The Sensex fell 436 points or 0.66 percent to trade at 65,350. The Nifty also declined 137 points or 0.7 percent to trade at 19,360, a short while ago.
