PM Narendra Modi to lay the foundation stone of the Ethylene Cracker Project in Madhya Pradesh

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lay the foundation stone of the Ethylene Cracker Project worth 49 thousand crore rupees at Bina Refinery in Madhya Pradesh today.

 

The Prime Minister will also lay the foundation stone of 10 other new industrial projects in the state.

This state-of-the-art ethylene cracker project at Bina Refinery will produce poly-ethylene and poly-propylene, which are used in various sectors like plastics, textiles, packaging and pharma.  Commercial production of this unit will start by 2028.

This petrochemical complex will open doors to various downstream commercial manufacturing units in terms of plastics, pipes, packaging materials, plastic sheets, automotive parts, medical devices, moulded furniture as well as other items of domestic and industrial use.

The Prime Minister will also lay the foundation stone of 10 new industrial projects in the state.  Overall, these projects will bring new investment of more than Rs 1 lakh crore and will provide 2 crore 37 lakh new employment opportunities.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will reach the stage in an open vehicle by meeting the general public.  Many senior ministers including Union Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Hardeep Puri and Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will be present on the stage.
