Nishat Corporator booked under PSA

Srinagar, Oct 6, KNT: The government has booked a ‘tainted’ corporator under the Public Safety Act in Srinagar.

Pertinently, the corporator of Srinagar Municipal Corporation, Aqib Ahmed Renzu from Nishat area, was arrested on charges of sexual harassment, outraging modesty, and online stalking.

Srinagar Police had said that strong technical evidence in this case had been produced by the victim.

On Friday, Renzu was booked under PSA and shifted to Kot Balwal Jail Jammu. [KNT]
