Preparations are in full swing in Ladakh for President Droupadi Murmu’s two-day visit from October 31 to November 1st. A Cultural Extravaganza is being diligently prepared and rehearsed to showcase the cultural and heritage richness of the newly formed Union Territory of Ladakh during her stay.
President Droupadi Murmu is set to arrive in Leh on October 31st and will participate in the Ladakh Union Territory 4th Foundation Day at Sindhu Sanskriti Kendra in Leh. As the Supreme Commander of the Indian Armed Forces, she is also expected to visit the Siachen Glacier in the Nobra Valley of Ladakh and interact with soldiers and officers stationed at various posts in the Siachen Glacier.

Additionally, four cultural programs, two from Leh and two from Kargil districts are being rehearsed to represent the cultural diversity of Ladakh. These will be presented at Sindhu Ghat near Shey village, where President Droupadi Murmu is anticipated to attend a Civic Reception hosted in her honor by the Ladakh Union Territory.
Tribals from different regions of Ladakh will gather in Leh to showcase the fabric of Tribal Culture, traditions, and customs. This visit from October 31st to November 1st marks President Droupadi Murmu’s first official visit to Ladakh.
