Sensex rises by 241 points; Nifty gains 42 points in afternoon trade

The key domestic stock indices today were in Green in the afternoon trade. The Sensex was trading above the 69,500 mark while the Nifty crossed 20,900 level in the early hours.

In the afternoon, The Sensex up by 241 points, or 0.35 percent, to trade at 69,537. The Nifty also gained 42 points, or 0.21 percent, to trade at 20,897.
