Consecration of Temple for Lord Ram in Ayodhya is a matter of great pride for people of the country, says Union Minister Pratima Bhoumik
Union Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment Pratima Bhoumik today said 2024 is full of fortune. She said a long wait of 500 years is coming to an end, with the consecration of the Temple for Lord Ram in Ayodhya. S
he added that it is a matter of great pride for the people of the country.
Speaking before the video conferencing of the Prime Minister with the beneficiaries of centrally sponsored schemes at Agartala, Ms. Bhoumik categorically thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the construction of the Temple for Lord Ram at Ayodhya.
She said, on 15 November 2023, two programmes, Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra and PM JANMAN were launched by the Prime Minister. These programmes have immensely benefitted the common man. More than four crore people have got their own pucca houses under the PM Awas Yojana.
The Minister said, that in Tripura, from the cleanliness point of view, more than three lakh people have got toilets in the state, and in the country, this figure is more than 11 crore.
She underlined that PM Ujjwala Yojana has benefitted more than 3 lakhs and in the country more than 11 crore.
The Minister said, that in Tripura, 26 lakh people have availed the Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana. She also said this Tripura is on the verge of becoming an Atmanirbhar state in the country and this is because of the double-engine government.
