FM Nirmala Sitaraman criticises TN government for banning live telecast of consecration ceremony inside Srikamatchiamman temple
Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitaraman today criticised the DMK government for not allowing LED screens inside the Srikamatchiamman temple premises to watch the live broadcast of the consecration ceremony at the Ram temple at Ayodhya. Interacting with the media before the temple premises she said that it was a violation of the basic rights of the Hindus. However, the Minister is participating in the Bhajan session inside the temple.

State BJP President Annamalai is participating in the live program at Sri Venugopalaswamy temple in Chennai. At Coimbatore, special arrangements were made by the Punjabi Association for a continuous recital of Ram Kathas. At Tenkasi, a bhajan procession was held by the State BJP on the occasion of the Consecration of Ram Temple at Ayodhya.
