Indian Air Force is soon going to establish a National Aerospace Testing Center, Air Marshal Dixit says
Deputy Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Ashutosh Dixit today affirmed the commitment of the Indian Air Force to spearhead aerospace industry development and indigenous production. He called for collaborative efforts among industry stakeholders to realize the vision of Aatmanirbhar Bharat.
Speaking at the 17th Conference on Energizing Indian Aerospace Industry challenges for ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat’ in New Delhi, he emphasized the imperative of achieving full spectrum of self-sufficiency within the Indian aerospace sector. He further stressed the need for collective action to address infrastructure challenges and cultivate a skilled workforce.
Air Marshal Dixit informed that the Indian Air Force is soon going to establish a National Aerospace Testing Center, aimed at streamlining manufacturing clearance processes. He also announced that the Air Force will be participating in the National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme to bolster skilled workforce.
