Several Senior Leaders To Submit Nomination Papers Today For 1st Phase Of Elections

In Assam, several senior leaders will submit nomination papers today for the first phase of elections. Union minister and senior BJP leader Sarbananda Sonowal will file nomination papers today at Dibrugarh.

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and the Presidents of BJP, Asom Gana Parishad and UPPL will accompany him. Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi will also file nomination papers today for Jorhat seat. State Congress chief Bhupen Bora will accompany him during the filing of papers. Five seats will be covered in the first phase.
