Vomedh celebrates its 16th year with Terrace Theater and Musical Evening
Vomedh completed 16 years of its theatre and cultural group . Celebrating 16 years of tireless work by the entire team towards preservation and promotion of theater and cultural activities Vomedh, a non government organisation, organised a musical evening at its office on 16th of May 2024. Rohit Bhat, Founder and director of Vomedh expressed his deep gratitude to the efforts of his Brother Rakesh Roshan Bhat, Patron and Co Founder Vomedh for his commitment in promoting Kashmiri language through theatre and acknowledged the untiring support of Mrs Meenakshi Rakesh Bhat, co founder Vomedh who was the chief guest for the celebrations.
Recognising the efforts of Vomedh team mates Rohit Bhat highlighted the efficiency of all the artists, and back hand support wring team who vehemently put in their blood & sweat to meticulously make all shows a success. The 16 years of tireless activities by Vomedh include International Film Festivals, Theatre Festivals,Cultural Events,Nukkad Natak, Theater Activities across Country. Bharti kaul vice president Vomedh expressed happiness and gratitude over the proceedings of the event that was largely attended by the group of Vomedians and above all the presence of Mrs. Meenakshi Bhat, the co-founder, is an epitome of strength and elegance as Chief Guest of the day. Vomedh advisor Wing commander Ashok Kumar Saraf sent his good wishes and blessings for the team.
This year the annual celebrations included Terrace theatre performance of play Beti Hai To Kal Hai, the artist who performed are Shazi Khan,Irfana Banu,Ridima Kalsi,Muskan Chib,Jang Bahadur, Shashank Singh Rajpjut,Nikhil Khajuria, & Mahi Khan along with a gala musical performance by the nationally renowned Mother-Daughter duo performers of J&K Nirmala Koul and Pallavi Koul. The celebrations that concluded with cake cutting ceremony cherished the presence of national repute artists like painter, shaivite artist, sculptor, art director Veer ji Sumbly, Senior Journalist King C Bharti,Ramesh Nirrash Kamakshya Dogra, Suman Bhat,Irfan Choudhary,Sunny Mujoo,Jatinder Jotshi,Vinay Pandita,Rahul Pandita,Shammy Dhamitr,Arvin Tickoo,Rakesh Tickoo,Vinod Bushan,Varsha kumari,Sonia,Bindiya Raina,Ishu Bharti Pandit, Saachi Sandeep Bhat and various other Guests.
Vomedh co-founder Mrs Meenakshi Rakesh Bhat while concluding the celebration assured of taking Kashmiri Culture and Literature worldwide and focusing on innovative theatre by Vomedh in the near future.
