7.0 Magnitude Earthquake Strikes Sultan Kudarat’s Province In Philippines

In Philippines, a deep offshore earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 7.0 struck Sultan Kudarat province this morning.

The Philippines’ seismology agency reported that the tremors were felt at 10.13 a.m. local time. The epicentre was located off southwest at the depth of 722 kilometres. The tremors were also felt in nearby provinces on Mindanao, the Philippines’s second-largest island. There were no immediate reports of injuries or damage.
