Soldier dies in accidental fire

Kishtwar,A soldier was killed after his service rifle went off accidentally in the Chatroo area of Kishtwar district.

  Official sources told KNT that the soldier was on routine duty when the incident occurred. The gunshot hit his head. He was shifted to a hospital where doctors declared him brought dead.

   The deceased has been identified as 24-year-old Satnam Singh son of Balkar Singh, a resident of Jammu.

    Police have taken cognizance of the incident and started an investigation. [KNT]
