Drug Peddler Arrested With Heroin In Udhampur

District Police Udhampur arrested one drug peddler in the jurisdiction of Police Station Udhampur and recovered 4.47 grams heroin like substance from his possession.
According to the Associated News Bureau (ANB), based on reliable information regarding the smuggling/trade of heroin in Housing Colony area of Udhampur town, Police Party of PS Udhampur headed by its SHO raided the suspected location and apprehended one person who was sitting in the park at Housing colony area who was engaged in the trade/selling of heroin.
The raid was carried out in the presence of an Executive Magistrate First Class Udhampur and during frisking of apprehended person 4.47 grams of Heroin like substance was recovered from his possession who has been arrested and contraband substance has also been seized by the police team.
A case FIR No. 490/2024 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Udhampur and investigation started. (ANB)
