Police Arrests Drug Peddler in Pulwama, Contraband Substance Recovered

 Continuing its unwavering efforts to eradicate the menace of drugs from the society, Police in Pulwama have arrested a notorious drug peddler and recovered contraband substance from his possession.

According to the Associated News Bureau (ANB), a Police team of Police Post Newa during patrolling at Wurwan arrested a drug peddler identified as Mudasir Ahmed Bhat son of Gh Mohi-ud-Din Bhat resident of Parigam. During the search, 5 grams of Heroin was recovered from his possession.

Accordingly, a case FIR No. 04/25 under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Pulwama and investigation has been initiated.

People are requested to co-operate with Police in eliminating the drug menace from the society.
