Class 10 Annual Exams Begin; Director Inspects Examination Centres

Srinagar,  The annual Class 10 examinations commenced across the Kashmir Valley today, with approximately 74,000 students appearing in the exams.

 To assess the arrangements, Director of School Education Kashmir (DSEK), Dr. G.N. Itoo, visited multiple examination centres in Srinagar, including Presentation Convent Higher Secondary School Rajbagh and Boys Higher Secondary School Jawahar Nagar. He interacted with students to review the facilities provided during the exams.

Expressing satisfaction over the arrangements, Dr. Itoo instructed the examination staff to ensure a conducive and disciplined environment for students. Speaking to the media, he reaffirmed the department’s commitment to providing all necessary support to students during the examinations.

Notably, 636 examination centres have been set up across Kashmir, with over 4,000 staff members deployed to ensure the smooth conduct of the exams. [KNT]
